Re: So glad to be Canadian
I'm super glad that my surgery was covered by OHIP as well. My surgeon told me the surgery would cost around $20,000 in the US. Plus I need to have another surgery in a year or two, which will be covered too.

Surgery Numbness?
I had SARPE surgery on December 13, 2011. Practically all of the numbness in my face and lips has disappeared, however half (yes, half) of my lip is still somewhat numb, the right side. I'm not really concerned with it, but I wanted to know if anyone has an idea of how long numbness usually lasts, o...

I've always used Blistex. I have particularly chapped lips and it seems to work for me.

Re: Hey everyone, I would appreciate your input!!!!
Just checked it out and I think it's fine. The only thing is that you have to scroll down the page to add something to your cart and then scroll back up to see the cart, which methoddan mentioned already. That's not a huge problem anyways and something that I can personally live with. I prefer this ...

Re: SPACERS!!!!
Well, normally I wouldn't have gotten them on this early, but I would've had to go back another time before getting braces and with school coming up soon, it's hard to just leave and miss a class. I haven't been experiencing much pain with them, I've had them on for a day now. They're a bit sore som...

Re: Any newbies self conscious about braces READ THIS!
I suppose that makes me feel slightly better... I'm getting braces later this month. Although, so many people at school have braces anyways that it doesn't really make much of a difference anyways. :P

Re: used oral b electric toothbrush for the first time
Grillz, you're experience with the vibrations of an electric toothbrush reminds me of the time I tried to use one. My dentist was recommending that I use an electric toothbrush, but my parents weren't up for paying $200 for the one they showed us. However, my dad has an electric Sonicare toothbrush ...

Re: Orthodontist Passed Away
My orthodontist recently retired at the age of 52. Luckily, I haven't gotten braces on yet (I'm getting them later this month). Anyways, a different orthodontist came in and took over the practice, as well as getting all of the patients and all the original assistants and secretaries still work ther...

Re: SPACERS!!!!
I got spacers put on this morning at the orthodontist, which was about 6 hours ago. I only have them on the top for now because I am getting top braces first, later this month and then bottom braces another time. Anyways, I have been experiencing slight soreness because of the spacers, but it's noth...
