Thank you Lisaintx! I needed 3 aligners total, so I'll be posting photos when I'm done. She's been gradually filing the right tooth so it can slip into position - it's being stubborn but finally moved.

Thank you! I personally am very glad that I went through the extractions. I didn't noticed too much of a change in my face, and looking at my smile now, it's hard to imagine any more teeth in there! My crowding was pretty severe, and without the extractions, I think my smile would be too 'toothy', o...

So it's been 20 months since being braced, and I am FINALLY close to the end. I have an appointment in 3 weeks, then (supposedly) my appointment after that will be my debracing!! here are some updated pics, and hopefully the next time I post, they will be off!!

Wishful thinking, I guess

Hello all.

I was just wondering if anybody has had their upper braces removed while their lowers stayed on? The lower teeth are generally more stubborn, so do they HAVE to keep the top on just as long? Just curious/hopeful..

Hello! I was quoted 18-24 months, and a few visits ago my ortho told me I should be done by Christmas, which will be the 18 month..not exactly 'early', but it's better than 24 months! We shall see..

Here are some updated photos..Today marks 14 months in braces! I should be done (fingers crossed) around Christmas time, and I'm so happy with the results so far. There's a small gap forming between my front teeth, but I have an appointment next week, and he'll probably put the power chains back on....
