Wow Lea, I didn't realise you could be charged extra for the plastic aligners. I'm 14 weeks in with the IA and I have one tooth that won't rotate, despite filing every 2 weeks. So I'm waiting to see if my dentist will suggest the plastic aligners. Please keep us posted with your progress.

I'm on week 9 and my speech is loads better than it was at first, but still too bad for me to wear the IA at work. I've only been wearing it on average 15 hrs a day, but my teeth are definitely straighter. Think I'm about half way there.
