Re: My Metal Story!
Coming into the end of my journey! It feels pretty surreal! I had my appointment today to check on healing and bone integration. My dentist said everything looks great! He was amazed at how well my gums healed up, and the assistants made me laugh running around looking for a tray to fit my mouth sin...

Implants placed, issue with retainer month later
Hello everyone!!! I had two dental implants and abutments placed on 11/2. I'm congenitally missing both lateral incisors. Since they placed the abutments they had to adjust the two teeth in my retainers. When I first got my retainers from my ortho, they did an okay job on them, but for some reason t...

Re: My Metal Story!
Yea everything has went great with the implants so far just awaiting the bones to fuse with implant. Nope not at all! I am however having issues with my retainer on the right side now due to the ortho office when they made my retainer somehow left a lot of space in my right canine slot. Since having...

Re: My Metal Story!
Well everyone I know it's been quite some time since I began my braces journey. My husband and I finally picked up awesome dental insurance through his job. I finally began my last restorative process with two implants. The procedure wasn't bad at all. I just kept my eyes closed and let them do thei...

Re: My Metal Story!
My apologies everyone who has viewed my story. I tthought I had posted results. I am not happy happy with my outcome. Yes it is better than before but not the perfect smile I thought I would have at the end of my journey a couple years ago. I feel like the top right of my bite looks wonky.

Re: My Metal Story!
Jul 10 2012 So my previous orthodontist appointment was a couple weeks ago. I went to my 6 month cleaning at my dentist office today! Yay no cavities :-* Anyways, my dentist was thoroughly puzzled as to why my orthodontist cut off all the wires from my canines back on top and bottom teeth and added ...

Re: Fake teeth attached to braces?
Hii! I have the same thing with my teeth! Lost both of my lateral incisors as baby teeth and no adult teeth to replace them! I had to endure that spacey smile until 2 years and a few months when I decided I had had enough! I am also 23 and at the end of my treatment which will be DECEMBER 17th! I ne...

Re: Ortho said not perfect but removing anyways...
I sure wish it was this way here in the US! I hate that I've spent all that money and still not where my teeth are supposed to be. And I have never had the same assistant. Always someone different! I figure they just want to get clients in and out so they can get more done in a day. Usually at each ...

Re: At a stand still...Bridge work. Lateral incisors l
Thanks everyone! I called them back about week after I spoke to the lady before whom told me to call after bridge work could be done. I spoke with another woman. I asked her if they could verify with my orthodontist my course of treatment due to having to wait on the bridgework. She said she would c...

At a stand still...Bridge work. Lateral incisors l
Okay so I was told at my consultation for my braces that I would get my braces removed and a retainer. Then when I get my bridge work done I would have to purchase another retainer. I am missing both of my lateral incisors. I was told to call and schedule a consultation with my dentist for bridge wo...

Re: Still in treatment, wires cut
Well I went in today! They said the last assistant clipped the wire too short;therefore, it wasn't engaging that first molar on the left side. So they replaced my whole bottom wire, and now using a different variation of elastics. Can already see improvements, and feel it too! Ooowwiee. :| T...

Re: My Metal Story!
Continued on. The previous few appointments have been pretty good. At my appointment about 8 weeks ago, I was told that they were going to not do anything, stop rubber bands, and all that to see how everything was 'holding up'. My next appointment after that....back in rubber bands wires clipped som...

Re: Still in treatment, wires cut
Well, as I have been poking around and looking at my teeth, I noticed that my wire on the right side goes to my first molar on bottom and on the left it stops at the small tooth by the first molar. I guess I'm going to call them up Monday, and see if they can take a look and see if everything ...
