Re: Starting with Clearstep...
Hi everyone How long are you supposed to wear the final aligner before going down to night only wear? I came out of my fixed braces on my top arch at the end of last year and since then I've had a few clear aligners to finish things off. I was given my last aligner a few months ago and was told that...

Re: Starting with Clearstep...
Thank you both for the replies :) @ dahlia - Yes, it's still the lateral incisor that's being the main problem. I've not spoken to the dentist about any kind of concession but I'm thinking of doing that this week. @ TheProfessor - I spoke to my general dentist earlier in the year about getting a sec...

North West!
The time in braces will fly by, it'll be over before you know it.

Re: Starting with Clearstep...
My treatment is still ongoing and it looks like it won't be finished until next year. I'm obviously very disappointed with how my treatment has been dealt with over the past 4 years. I feel that I should be compensated for this but am not sure if I'm within my rights to ask for my money back. I have...

Re: Starting with Clearstep...
@ TheKT - Thanks
@ Jem - Yes, that's the tooth that bothers me. It was actually in a much better position when I finished with the aligners but since I've had Fastbraces on it's started to shift back.
What do you think to the progress, considering it's been 3 years?

Re: Starting with Clearstep...
Thanks for the reply Jem :) I know what you mean, it's very difficult to remain objective when you've been in braces for as long as I have. I had originally written a long (and slightly ranting) response but it disappeared when the forum asked me to log in again. So, I'll just post some pictures ins...

Re: Starting with Clearstep...
3rd year update... I'm currently wearing normal Fastbraces on my bottom and top arch (fitted in October) to finish off my previous Clearstep treatment. Unfortunately, this is not going well either. One of my extraction gaps has (had) almost closed up but the other side is still a long way off. Annoy...

Re: UK Fastbraces - Male aged 31 - now fitted - gulp!!!
Hey Peter How are you getting on now? It looks like you'll be finished very soon! :) I had Fastbraces put on a few weeks ago and so far they've been no problem. I've not really had any pain or discomfort except when eating (for the first day or two) and I'm pretty use to them already. Only downside ...

Re: Starting with Clearstep...
Thanks Jem I'm sure once I've got the braces on I'll be fine. In fact, I'm oddly looking forward to it after having aligners in for the past 2 1/2 years. Like you say, I won't have to worry about taking them out to eat or have to carry a toothbrush around with me all the time! Also, it's not like I ...

Re: Starting with Clearstep...
The nightmare continues... I have an appointment to have Fastbraces fitted next month (why it takes so long I don't know). I'm not sure if this is the right choice. I was given the option of having my case sent off to Invisalign to see if they could close the extraction gaps but I declined. From rea...
