Well it has been 15 mths now since I got my braces put on and I thought I should post an update pic with progress. I dont have any idea when he is planning on taking them off but I am very happy with the results. He said today that he is "tweaking" them...I hope that means they will be com...

Congrats to all the newbies with braces! I am 55 and got my braces a little over a year ago now. At first I really questioned if I'd done the right thing...I ended up catching the flu the same day I got my braces put on so it made me feel even more miserable than I already did...Eating anything hurt...

I am 55 yrs old and just got "pink" color for my bottom teeth! I love them and I change to dif colors depending on the season! I only have the colors put on my bottom teeth...that way I only have to show them to whoever I want to and not worry about them showing any other time since my bot...

Thanks! I went in today, Jan 12th to have my wires changed to the thickest and last ones...so I was told! I dont know how long they will have to be on but I'm hoping by summer that I will be debraced! I'm going to ask when I go back next month if he has any idea but, they look good enough to me righ...

Congratulations on the decision to get braces! ; ) I got mine 8 mths ago and am 54 yrs old so, it's never to late! Every time I go in for an adjustment I come home and have to eat soft foods for at least 24 - 48 hrs cuz my teeth feel so sore. You learn what things to eat and not eat pretty quickly! ...

My Braces at 8 Months... they dont look any dif to me than they did at 6 mths really... starting to worry about if they will ever straighten out and all be the same length! I was told that I am in the thickest and last wire now...not sure for how long tho. There are plastic "chains" connec...

Thanks so much for sharing your before and after pics! Your smile looks so pretty now and no one would ever know with your teeth looking so perfect, that you ever needed braces! I hope mine look half that good someday! How long did you have braces? I have been so worried that my teeth will never lin...

Here's my 4 mth update pic! ; ) I can definitely see differences now and am so happy that things are moving along...just wish it could all go faster! lol I hope that top tooth will eventually come down to be even with the other one! I had them put colored bands for Easter on the bottom...at my son's...

My teeth after 2 mth adjustment...Feb 25th....chains were added to the top from the canines to the first molar. My right side has already come down and lined up. I think the left looks the same and the top front tooth seems even shorter to me! I sure hope all this straightens out soon! I'm a bit wor...

I just use my waterpik on lowest setting, then I rinse with mouthwash...I dont use my toothbrush on the gaps where teeth were pulled.

Hi I think I would also mention the bottom left one that is slightly off to him if he were my ortho....You paid for this so you deserve ALL the teeth to be straightened, not part of them. My ortho told me that his patients will all wear a retainer for awhile after the braces come off....just to keep...
