Thanks both for the responses! Meeting my ortho this week so will be having a chat with him about it then.
Can't believe I'm going into my last month of Invisalign treatment already!

Disadvantages to cosmetic composite bonding?
Hi all I am currently nearing the end of my Invisalign treatment. My Dentist (as well as my ortho) briefly suggested doing some composite bonding on my front teeth after the treatment, purely for aesthetics. I came across the following article (which btw I highly recommend if you are also having cos...

Re: Thinking of re-brace my teeth with extration
Hey! :) I think usually with invisalign, extractions aren't necessary, unless there is severe overcrowding. So I imagine that because you have had IPR before, any extractions (and 4 at that!!) may be a bit excessive? I don't know really, but I guess if you only need a couple of millimetres extra spa...

Re: Digital impressions
Hey sweetcynic, there's a few comments in this thread about it: http://www.archwired.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=42217 I think its summarised quite well with everyone's comments here... at worst its a little uncomfortable if you have wisdom teeth, otherwise there is nothing but benefits. And...

Re: How many attachments before you wish you had normal brac
I actually considered this myself before going for Invisalign, as I had seen some horrible examples of attachments in photos (where they did not even match the tooth colour). When I got my attachments, I just thought "at least with regular braces, people would know I have braces.... now people ...

Re: Teeth have moved while using Invisalign Vivera retainers
Hey John That is one of my regular moans on here actually... unfortunately retainers need replacing a lot more frequently than one would expect. Interestingly (based on "research", apparently...!), Invisalign suggest Vivera's be changed every 3-6 months, and this is for a very highly regar...

Re: Tray 6 and uneven bite
Hey Farrah, How has this been going? I don't really have any advice, all I can say is that I would imagine your bite would change mid-way through treatment. If you think about it, some teeth are going to have to move at different times to others, which inevitably will change your bite. Either way, w...

Re: iTero Digital Impressions
I have had mine done with a scanner too (not sure if it was called itero or not either!). For me it was not quite so easy, despite having a huge mouth lol. Its very much like a hand-held barcode scanner as mentioned earlier, and so because I have all of my wisdom teeth through already, it was bloody...

Re: Just got Retainers
Damn thats a shame, I am surprised they are that bad! What type of retainers are your permenant ones going to be, do you know? e.g. hawleys (one with metal), essix (clear retainer), or bonded (metal glued to your back teeth)? All have their pros/cons, but I imagine the hawleys and bonded would have ...

Re: How long did you wear your retainers?
Yeah retention really is (or should be ;) ) for life. Ultimately, your teeth are always moving (with or without having had braces). So for us who have worn braces, there is a big chance of relapse (teeth going back to how they used to look) if we do not always wear retainers. Here's the good news th...

Hey there There was a recent post where another user complained about problems with their bite with some advice: http://www.archwired.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=42107 May I ask, when you say "since you had invisalign", have you now finished treatment? Or are you still wearing them...
