Will I have my attachments removed after refinements?

Hi, I'm going to finish my set of refinements next month...finally! Even though my teeth are still ugly and bending from one side, I'm done with those braces and I'll take whatever shape they have!! :FeelSick: I'm wondering if I will have removed my attachments after my last tray or will I keep it u...

Re: Invisalign & Braces: The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, IMO

For me is not so much an issue where I brush my teeth. Most of the day I am in the office so I don't have any problem. However it is really annoying brushing teeth 15 times a day!
For a candy should I go and brush my teeth? Forget it...I just don't eat it.

Re: Invisalign & Braces: The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, IMO

Invisalign has tons of PROs and this is undeniable. Sure we have some BADs as well, like cutting gum, brushing your teeth in public restrooms and so on. But what is really ugly for me is the fact that I can't " dispose " of my teeth as I want! When you are with Invisalign there is no cupca...

Re: Paying for Invisalign

I payed the first time 1/3 of the total amount and after that a % every month till the end of my trays, now I'm on refinenments and I'm not paying anything, however was my dentist choice, I could pay the full amount in once but he insisted to be payed monthly  I guess it depends on the doctor...

Re: How do you get used to Invisalign (Help!!)

I had the same panicky feeling when I started more than a year ago! I guess you just get use to it...somehow.. When some of the trays were cutting my gum I asked to myself many times: why am I doing this to me?! :-+ But I never liked my teeth...so thinking to a better smile helped my journey ...

I prefer my teeth with Invisalign

I was wondering if this is a normal thing that happens to everyone that is using Invisalign... Now that I'm on Invisalign for more than one year I prefer to see my teeth with the braces on rather than " naked " teeth...it sounds weird but my teeth look thin and sharp! Maybe because of the ...

Re: Attachments still on

I had my first (and I hope the last one) set of refinements last week. Now basically my teeth look like I have fixed braces since on every single front tooth I've an attachment!! :FeelSick:

Re: Whitening after Invisalign

I actually don't have any contract, or at least I never seen it neither signed. But I asked my dentist and he told me that the whitening is not included and he suggested me to buy one at a generic store...it works the same

Attachments still on

I'm waiting for my first set (and I hope the only one) of refinements, however I thought my attachments would be removed before my impressions and I'd be waiting for the refinements without it while I still have all attachments on :FeelSick:
Is this a normal procedure?

Whitening after Invisalign

It is always included the whitening in the Invisalign treatment? I never had a formal contract with my dentist and I don't even know if and many set of refinements are included in the initial price :Questions:

Re: number of refinements

That's really sad  I'm waiting for my aligners and after 25 trays ....and weeks and weeks waiting I definitely would not like to know that I've to keep the Invisalign for another year! It will be really frustrating! :-+ But it is also true that I want my teeth as much straight as I can......

Re: Invisalign causing irritation

It happens to me very often. Probably I can say every 2 trays :(
Once my dentist cut the border of my bottom tray was unnecessary too long and it was cutting my gum so badly!
I believe is something that you have to use to, with the days will improve ;)
