Pop some wax on the ends, if that doesn't work ring your ortho and get him to clip the ends off.

When I have chocolate, sometimes it can make my clear ligs a little darker but this goes when I brush my teeth so it shouldn't cause any permanent staining like coffee does.

My opinion is that people have a full smile when they are not self conscious about it, and they are not holding anything back. I completely agree, I don't think I ever fully smiled before braces as I was hiding my wonky teeth, I certainly don't smile as fully as I want to with braces, I guess i'll ...

I went in seriously expecting the ortho to say I needed extractions due to my excessive overcrowding on the bottom but he said that it wasn't necessary. I was certainly surprised but they've all moved back into place nicely!

Hey, i know exactly how you're feeling. I'm 24 and broke up with a girl just before i got the braces put on, that sort of thing knocks your confidence even without having braces. I know it's stupid, but i am much more introverted with braces and find it harder to be myself when on dates. Most of the...

My ortho has good teeth, i think it's important to install confidence when you arrive. It's almost like a really good advertisement, an ortho with bad teeth would make me start to wonder.

I'm from Manchester, UK. I didn't have to pay for the first consultation as long as I went ahead with treatment. I've seen quite a few people wearing braces, only because i was looking out for it more, don't remember ever really seeing anyone before but i've definitely seen about 7 people since i st...

Crusty bread caused my wires to pop out at the back very early on when the wires were quite flexible. Other than that i'm able to eat most foods someway or other and haven't had any problems with broken brackets. As i have clear ligatures on the top braces, i have to avoid any foods that stain espec...
