My first adjustment was Oct 11th,heavier wire on top(18) and the same wire size on the bottom. Also added the wire around the other teeth on the bottom.As soon as she was closing the doors on my brackets I could feel the pressure! I have been sore ever since w/headaches.Next adjustment will be Dec 1...

Thanks everyone,I myself was wondering the same thing.I think I read on here somewhere that the first couple of months is when the most movement happens?

I'm going thru the same thing.I had my top tooth hitting my bottom tooth,and I grind at night as well.I broke off a piece of my top tooth,while sleeping.(been fixed) I have a bumper and molar build ups.Helps alot :D I may have to go in again cause it's hitting again in the same spot,be my third set ...

My dental assistant told me I can't wear a mouth guard,'cause it would slow down the tooth movement.I've already broke off a piece of my front tooth by clenching at night. I had more bonding added to my molars and this has helped alot.

Past couple of days my top lip has been getting "stuck" on my braces(on top) Also top lip looks thinner,is this normal?
