Re: Orthodontic Bone Anchor

Hi, some time ago, I was an active member here. I had braces for a long time, and one of the many steps was me getting bone anchors. Thanks to the excellent memory of this site, my whole story is still here : http://www.archwired.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=27507 When you have the courage to ...

Re: Severe open bite

Hi, a successful ortho treatment for the open bite for her : http://www.archwired.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=36146 But less successful for me : http://www.archwired.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=27507 My bite is now exactly like yours : "open bite approx 6mm and only my 2 back teet...

Re: The never ending story of Clo's braces

It is heartwarming to still receive some posts now and then after such a long time. Thank you all !! @Kipepeo : after all the issues I experienced, I can say it is good that when you notice something is going really wrong, you can tell this to your orthodontist knowing he/she will take matters serio...

Hi,

local anesthesia for this. What sjs8906 said is really true.
But I think the longer you wait having them loaded, the more risk you have that the TADs come loose. I experienced that.

Hi, open bite = bad bite = part of the head ... So, it really IS in your head  Nah, just joking. I also see quite some improvement. It is always difficult to compare 2 different pics. But when comparing the opening to for example the width of your upper centrals, then you can see very well your...

Hi, hmmm, I appreciate your comments. Some are not bad, some are spot on. I too sat back to think about what really went wrong. What you say about aligning creating the overjet is correct. One page 1, I posted pics of my moulds as things were initially. Aligning my laterals made the arch fuller and ...

Thanks ! First, it was only a dream. The advantage of this intruding method is that you have nothing to lose. The worst case scenario is that it just doesn't intrude your molars. But much more probable is that it will work completely or partially. Anyway, all going wrong won't happen. I find it unac...

Hi Jade, welcome here ! Some time ago, I was quite active here. From time to time, I still come here to read about cases that interest me. Why? Because after a long time in braces, I ended up with a major anterior open bite and a nonexistent occlusion. My treatment ended now a year ago, but to this ...

Hi, thanks for being interested. But I fear I have not any news. So the situation did not change since I posted some time ago. I still have those bone anchors. But also I still didn't decide if I will try another treatment or if I will keep my bite being like that. The reason I didn't decide yet is ...

Hi, should I or shouldn't I ? Tell you the link to my story that I wrote here some time ago. Because it isn't a happy story and up to now it has not a happy ending either. Well, yes, I'll show you the link : http://www.archwired.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=27507 It is all about mistakes, open bite, e...
