I have a whole mouthful of crowns, unfortunately. At least they are all on molars and it doesn't look like any of them will have to be replaced after braces. I'll need about 3 more as soon as I'm out of them. I had to get a molar band on one crown, I bit the bracket off so many times. Haven't had an...

Ohhhhhh yeah....every time I say the f sound, I practically call dogs...really high-pitched whistle. My boyfriend thinks it's hysterical.

Hang in there! Those rotten little elastics will produce amazing results! I think I'm actually 'addicted' to mine--if they are out for too long while I'm eating, I get nervous and I'm not happy until they are back in there. Weird, huh?

I never looked younger than I actually was until I got into my thirties...I guess the clean living and genetics are finally paying off! Thanks for the clarification, jcdamon3! Now I'm wondering what I have in my mouth! :lol: The horizontal elastics aren't like the diagonal ones...they are a single strand through the middle with a little loop at either end. Does anyone know if there is a special name for this particular type of elast...

Hi Jennielee! So nice to see your good progress! Sorry about that pesky post...so far I have been incredibly lucky and I don't really notice the posts, just the pressure from the elastics. My last wires were also square so I'm sorta used to the pain they cause. I'll be glad when they fix my first in...
