24 hours per day for the first week, 16 hours per day for the second week, just by night starting with the third week

it hurt a little bit when the molar bands went out, but that was all !
brackets removal and teeth polish didn't hurt

i loved my adjustment because i knew that every one will get me closer to the end

if you're supose to wear your retainer night time only,then what about new year's eve? what will you do?

i was thinking to wear it during the day, leave it at home and then wear it the next day, will that be alright? i really don't wanna spend the night with essix in my mouth

i've been instructed to wear it like this:

first week 24/7
second week 16 hours per day

after those 2 weeks i'll be starting to wear it just by night, don't know exactly for how long. i'm meeting my ortho in february to see my teeth

hello you are right, it's way easier now to take them out than it was on the first day. it takes me 15 seconds and it doesent hurt anymore. but i still hate it a little :mrgreen: i love how my teeth feel and look without the retainer and i can't speak 100% perfect with it what about cleaning the ret...

thanks i won't eat forbbiden foods yet. my ortho said to eat soft foods at the beginning because my teeth are used to take pressure together (with braces) not eachother. many people do this mistake, to eat hard foods immediatly after getting debraced. teeth may shift.. i have eaten all the forbbiden...

i don't think your ortho will do that, but he doesen't have too, you can go to any dentist to do it, it's also cheap and it takes about 10-15 minutes

teeth scaling will do the trick, as it did for the back of my lower teeth today

in my case ..some movement after 1 month. major improvment after 3 months.
