I actually had to ask my ortho to shave my canine teeth down, he didnt just do it on his own, so I wouldnt be too worried about him going ahead without asking

My ortho gave me custom trays and bleach as part of my treatment, so I didnt have to pay extra, but I cant imagine using my essix as a whitening tray because of how much it sits on my gums, I would be worried about that, but like someone said above me, $100 for custom trays and bleach is not that bad

I can tell you from experience, that molar build-ups, like everything with braces, take some getting used to, and as soon as your used to it, you will forget you have them. Once I got my molar buildups off, that was weird, I was biting my toungue more then when i first had them put on!

I called and they said dont worry about it so I said I was worried because it was sore. She went to ask the ortho and he asked what tooth it was. I said it was the left bottom canine. She came back again and said dont worry about it, it wont affect anything.
I'm still worried. It's turned a tiny bit.

braces off in 2 weeks, and bracket just came off..

I am supposed to have my braces removed next thursday, Aug. 26th. (about 2 weeks from today) and over the weekend, I just had a bracket pop off. Its still sitting there because I am in power chains, but since then the tooth and the 2 teeth beside it have become sore, and im assuming its because they...

Yes. I got really lazy with my flossing, and I have had some bone loss as a result. I have a huge black triangle on my bottom teeth in the middle, and it cant be corrected without IPR and pulling my teeth together which will cost more money. Its not terrible, and I'm lucky I was having frequent clea...

Thank you! I will update soon, I havent put up new pictures in months and so much has changed since then. Im going for my 7th adjustment next thursday, maybe I'll take some pictures after that. My canines do seem to be a bit shorter, but they seem to be more in the front so they look more vampire-is...

I also have super pointy canines (see my story). I asked my ortho if he can do anything about them, he said once we are closer to the end of treatment, he will file them down. They really bug me though, and to me it ruins the way my teeth look now, they are perfectly straight, but all I can see are ...

When I first started treatment my upper teeth were hitting the bottom brackets and I had an appliance as well so I couldnt use the roof of my mouth. I came close to breaking off those brackets a few times so I got molar buildups. (You can see them in my story) They are really awkward feeling at firs...

although I should point out, I've been seeing commercials for the bullet express. Its an awesome food processor/mixer that comes with a juicer attachment! I want one!

Why dont you drink V8?
Your teeth wont be sore forever, so I'm not sure its worth investing that much money in a juicer (in my case anyways)

Totally normal!
Its all part of the fun. Just dont wiggle them a bunch on purpose, or they will probably get sore!
