My braces came off a few weeks ago, but I always looked forward to my appointments because I knew that every time an adjustment was made, it would be one step closer to getting to the final result. I never worried about the pain because for the most part, I didn't really have any.

I live in Singapore but I'm Canadian. I have not seen many adults with braces here, but when I visit Bangkok, I see tons of them. Probably because it is so cheap there.

I don't know the answer, but my ortho was tinkering with very minor adjustments just 2 weeks before I was debraced. I had to wait a week to get my retainer, and I had no noticeable movement in that time.

I don't know if this has anything to do with braces, but one side of my face has thinned out quite a bit. Even my ortho noticed - asked if I lost weight. I haven't had any extractions, so I'm not sure why this has happened. Just getting old, maybe??
