My dentist estimated between 8 and 18 months, with a liklihood of 14...he has been almost spot on! I have a debrace day set for the 4th November after having them put on August 17th 2009

I wouldn't worry. My teeth shifted within hours of having a powerchain removed - different scenario I know - but after that initial movement that was that.
