The braces came off this morning!!!!!!!
Hated to do the moulds for the retainers. I have a small mouth and it was really tough.
The bottom retainer is bonded in, how do I floss?
I'll ask when my kids go this afternoon.
Now to look into whitening my teeth.

I think I may miss the braces

My braces have been on for 4 years 7 months and 1 week and come off tomorrow. I can't remember when I last saw the molar bands. I know they are still there but the gums have grown over them. My ortho says that is normal and that I have really small teeth and not to worry.

Wow, that sounds frustrating. Mine are supposed to come off tomorrow. I hope you get yours off soon!

I am so excited, my braces come off tomorrow.
I am also sad, they have become part of me. I have had them on through graduate school. I think that I will miss them.

They are used for lots of things such as closing gaps and keeping teeth close together. I have had them on my top teeth for at least a year. I feel your pain Joe and hope I don't have as much time as you do. I got power chain on top all the way around today and they unwired my front four top teeth. I think that was progress!!!

Both my son and myself have braces. He is 12 and got his in August and I have had mine for 2 years. I also have a 13 year old daughter who will get them as soon as her baby teeth finish falling out (or are Pulled).

I also got another set of springs on top this time to push my top molars back. The RC wire hass started to level the bottoms out nicely but it will be quite a while...

I love my metals. They are alot of fun!!

I didn't have one but both kids did. Son had top and bottom on for over 2 years and daughter had bottom on for 2 years. Good luck
