Believe me it didnt move. I hit myself in the chin just slightly about a week after surgery and nothing happened. It didnt hurt, but because my chin was numb I didnt realize how close I was to something.

You will be ok.

Dont worry, time goes by fast. I have been in braces for over 3 years this May. About to get them off in 2 months. I cant wait. I had lower jaw advancement last Oct 1. I look and feel much better.

Quit watching the YouTube videos, yea they will bother you. Do a search of my name and find the X ray of my jaw after surgery. Yea I would think that any surgeons can make a cut pretty close. I know mine did.

Its been around 9 months since my surgery, I only have a small area on my lower lip that is still numb. Its on the left side and does not bother me.
I hope everyone out there is doing good with their surgery recovery.

Dont forget I had a chin job also to reduce my chin when my doc pulled my lower jaw out. I still have numbness and tingling in my chin and lower lip but not much. I am happy I had the surgery. I wouldnt say a month. Just 15 days after my surgery no one could tell I even had surgery. I was back to normal.
