The floss I use is minted wax Oral-B Satin Floss or just the minted wax regular floss.

My orthodontist gave me:

A coffee mug
a dental mirror on a stick
several floss threaders
a travel toothbrush

Vaseline, carmex, chapstick (regular, or flavored), softlips, basically anything that will keep my lips from chaping.

Just tell them it could be really really worse. Golden rule: things can always get worse.

And Amanda Jane, just fyi--many, many kids are actually done iwth braces by their teens now.

Being 13 is really young, I didn't get my first braces till like 16 or so. Do the girls have all their permenant teeth yet? I would think so. Some people start really young, anyways.

clicking is normal and being able to wiggle slightly is normal but this too will pass! I would think wiggling a tooth is way too loose.
