ewww I can't imagine having the impressions done with braces still on?! Unless they use different stuff to do the impressions, wouldn't it all get caught in your braces (kind of like scrambled eggs do, or process cheese slices)

getting braces removed- how long does it take

H ow long does it take for the ortho to remove your braces? Will they book a longer appointment? (Getting to the end of my treatment, they keep saying "soon" but haven't given a debracing date... and I guess that I'm hoping that I'll show up for an appointment and they'll surprise me by t...

How long does it take untill teeth firm up in place? Is it only w...

I have used wax with elastics- it is a bit tricky to make it stay... but it will move your cheek out a bit and it will be away from your elastics.

they usually bend my wires at the back also, but it sure doesn't feel like they did this time. Good thing that my big gaps are closed. It still feels like it's poking at the back

Hi,

you didn't mention if you eat eggs (I know some people who are vegan do and some don't...), but scrambled or boiled eggs are great, mashed potatoes are also very easy to eat. It does get easier...

Every time I sweep the floor at home, I find the elastics that I've dropped- I never seem to be able to see them when I drop them.

Maybe now that I've 'graduated' to the heavy duty tortoise elastics, they won't move so quickly and I'll find them easier.
