Re: Nasal blockages and jaw deformities
I just had surgery for the same reasons that you say you need surgery. Asymmetry and difficulty breathing out of my right nostril. My asymmetry has been corrected and it is now effortless to breath out of both nostrils.

Re: Jaw surgery in CANADA? PLEASE HELP!
Yes, my case was quite complex. I'm very glad I went to a top surgeon. I traveled to California from out of state to have surgery. It's my understanding that asymmetry is much more difficult to correct than just moving the jaws forward or backwards only. My asymmetry stemmed from condylar hypoplasia...

Re: Jaw surgery in CANADA? PLEASE HELP!
I recently had surgery to correct asymmetry. My eyes appeared different like you described. This has mostly been corrected with HA cheek grafting. I'm very pleased with the results so far. I traveled out of state to have surgery.

Re: Getting jaw surgery in the UK - advice needed
Thanks for wishing me luck. I am very much against government healthcare. I feel bad for people that are not free to choose a doctor. If I would have gone to the first surgeon I consulted with, I'm sure I'd have miserable results, as he only indicated lower jaw surgery even though I have asymmetry i...

I have very similar issues. I'm having surgery later on this month so I'll be able to give you an idea of what to expect regarding asymmetry and TMJ issues.

One reason why I oppose government healthcare. You seem like you would meet the requirements for surgery.

I don't have an answer to your question, but I did look at your blog and it is very informative although it's missing some post-op pictures. Care to share?

No IVRO. I'm having upper 3 piece to correct the cant and transverse discrepancies and lower BSSO. I've only heard bad things about IVRO and TMJ.

I have very similar issues with my joints and bite. I'm having surgery in just over a month so I will be able to give you some perspective in the near future. A link to my blog is below. Jaw pain is the worst and I wish you the best.
