I started class II elastics at 16 mos. and wore them for 6 mos.! Was just switched to triangles....

I too felt like my mouth and lips especially were so exaggerated when i was braced, but eventually you totally adjust ...makes me wonder if my mouth will feel small and my lips deflated when im debraced??

Any hope that this distinct lis-th-p I've developed and carried into my fourteenth month braced will vanish post-braces? I didn't lisp before, so what gives? It's not as if my mouth hasn't had time to adjust to the metal..

Why is your ortho in such a rush to beat the clock? I am really surprised that a 20 mo. estimate has shrunk to a 12 mo. estimate after only 8 mos. braced!
