Went to the dentist and I am grinding so bad my amalgams are about to fall out...guess that answers that question. She said to remember "lips together, teeth apart" during the day b/c I noticed I was grinding at my desk. Has been a week of actively trying not to grind, just put in a new se...

yes-- allergies. I put in the first set and had a rash on my chin and cheeks around my mouth. Hives, really itchy. Then with the second set, even though I brushed them to get the cloudy stuff out before I put them in, I got what I thought was a horrible allergy attack. Now I just feel sick. I wake u...

it hurts more in the second week of a set!

Sorry, tacked this onto the end of an old thread and it should have been a new one: Has anyone found that they have increased difficulty getting the trays off and/or increased pain in the second week of a set? My lower tray of set #2 is suddenly killing me and my teeth are super sensitive (I know it...

My lower tray of set #2 is suddenly killing me and my teeth are super sensitive (I know it's partially from them moving because it's suddenly hard to get floss in between my ...

I have to go back every 6 weeks, and they give me three sets at a time. The first three sets of trays don't have those markings for IPR on them you mentioned. Just popped a new set in last night and my right molars feel very wonky, as if they need to move out to fit the tray, hmm... Woke up mouth br...

Thanks for the advice, very helpful indeed. The reply about overcorrection makes a lot of sense. So far treatment has been fine, I'll just make sure to ask my ortho during the next appointment about the Clincheck/IPR. Guess I will trust that I am not the expert here and defer to my ortho (who, by th...

clincheck seems fishy...

I just looked at my clincheck on my ortho's website and I don't get it-- while my front teeth are straightening out, all my molars look like they're simply making space by moving out, as if my jaw is widening. That is obviously impossible. Plus, the clincheck shows 21 sets of trays and my actual ali...
