My answer is no to both questions. My problems are mainly that I show A LOT of teeth when I speak, gums when I laugh and strain when closing my mouth.

Have you discussed your case with an ortho/OS?

I will be having lefort 1 surgery the 16th, of may. My ortho and OS have said that the lower jaw rotates a bit forward as the upper jaw is lifted, so I they might have to move it a little bit forward as well.

I'm a 25 year old woman who will have lefort surgery on May 16th. I'm finally in a surgery thread!!

Today it's 7 weeks until my surgery. I feel calm now, but I'm sure I'll get really nervous as it comes closer, just curious when I'll start to get anxious. One week ahead surgery? One month? Time will tell . I'm REALLY looking forward to it though.
