Re: do your trays break ?

Nearly every single tray broke, either a split over the back molars or between the two front teeth. I never had the tray replaced, i needed refinements, coming to an end of them now and i'm unhappy but just want this whole experience to end.

Re: Fixed Bonded Retainers & Leveling Teeth

I have a lower bonded retainer and had some leveling done. Levelling is fine, you don't even notice. The bonded retainer is bothersome, I've had it for about 7 months now and still play with it constantly. Food doesn't get too stuck in it though, you can buy a flosser but I dont really use them, jus...

Bone Augmentation

What the owww factor? 2. Its booked in for 20th December -will I be able to eat Xmas dinner? 3. Any ...

After I finished invisalign I had one wobble tooth, my ortho kept saying its normal the teeth are just settling down. Aftert 8 months I went back because its started to hurt, they took an xray and there is a big gap around the roots, apparently bone loss. I can either have the tooth removed or some ...

I was never offered that option, I was always quoted a bonded retainer £225 each. I asked about the invisalign ones half way through my treatment and I was fobbed off really, he said they were expensive and bonded was better. I've got bonded on the bottom row already, I just can't wait to get out of...

Can you wear your last alligner as a reatiner even though you've had your attatchments off?

When waiting for refinements .........

can you get away with only wearing your braces for like 12 hours a day.

Wouldn't they already have moved as much as they are going to move. i've been waiting six weeks and I have an appointment in another 2 weeks time so can you be a bit slack with them?

I drink all the time with them in. I soak the trays in retainer brite every now and again and they seem fine. I always give them a brush with toothpaste when I brush my teeth and all seems fine.

I usually drink wine with them in, and if i'm out I just give them a little rinse now and again.

How much do/did your retainers cost?

I currently have a lower bonded retainer (which I hate, its lumpy and uncomfortable) and my ortho wants to put a bonded one on the upper. I'm less than thrilled about this. Each bonded retainer cost me £225. So, when I asked about the invisalign retainer he just said 'oh they are really expensive', ...

Mine stopped fitting over one attatchment on about 17U of 29U then another one at about 23U. I wanted a mid course correction but was told I would have to pay!!!! So I opted for the refinements. I've been waiting 6 weeks now for them. My ortho rang me last week and said Invisalign have suggested ano...

My last 6 trays didn't cover a particular tooth.

I've already posted a thread on this but Invisalign are coming back with 28 tray refinements.

Ive got a horrible feeling about it not working for me either.
