Yes, I have had this problem since I first got my retainer. Where that piece of metal that loops around your molar is, if you are able to bite on it, it will eventually bend up embewtween your molars and cause a small space to open, that not good.. I'd call your ortho pronto.. and have this fixed......

He says he tells people to wear reatiners for 24/7 in hopes that they will wear them at leat half that time 12 hours. so when i went for my last retainer check he told me I was wearing mine too m...

I have no idea if im right or not. But it looks like your teeth meet at the top and only have spaces at the bottom. If this is the case I don't think there is much you can do, maybe bonding after treatment. I would discuss this issue with your Ortho.. Best wishes, leah

Hi Dramagyrl, I started my treatment with clear ceramic on my top teeth. I didn't have any extractions so they had to do alot of flaring or"bucking " of my top teeth to get them in allignmennt. So when it came time to start pushing my teeth back into place the ceramic brackets were not sto...

wires

The reason I'm told is that all the little bends is mostly to level and rotate all the finishing things they need to do. so if you think about it, to put in a brand new straight wire would move your teeth right back to where the...
