I know loads of people including myself and my brother who have had extractions with no negative side effects. I think the problem is that not many people mention it unless things turn bad. I didn't regret my extractions a bit!

Also remember the ortho can make minor adjustments using the retainer I was afraid he wouldn't let me debraced last week due to a few tiny issues but he said it can all be easily fixed with the retainer!

Yay :) I'm so excited for you! I was debraced on friday and barely slept on thursday night I was so excited! My teeth feel so slimey and look huge tho! I have spelt all day eating previously forbidden foods haha.
I only have to wear a top essix 24/7 for 6 weeks and then just at night. I am very happy

I would wait until the pain has stopped and your teeth have found a happy position and have the retainer made then. There may have been slight movement but atleast it will prevent a full on relapse!
