Re: Narrow arch; what is tipping out of teeth?

I had my arch widened quite considerably, but I must say I am not sure whether it was done by this tipping method. It looks much better though and after two years I have had no issues with my upper teeth or root problems.

Re: What Keeps Teeth From Rotating Back After Treatment

I wear an Essix on my upper teeth at the moment, bottom teeth are still going. I think they actually look better than when I finished treatment, only in that the retainer actually pinched the two front teeth together more than they were in my last aligner. I think if you have an essix though, it is ...

Re: Opinion, please

I think unfortunately you are going to have to wear that bill. After all you have gone through with Invisalign, you will struggle to prove that it was negligence by your dentist. I too have a crown and have to replace it which isn't cheap. I was however warned about that upfront and that it wouldn't...

Re: Invisalign and q clinic

Wow, that's awful. How did you pay? If you paid by credit card it should be fairly simple to get it back by contacting the credit card company. Also, what did you sign? Did you check the contract that you signed carefully (if you signed one) I'm really sorry this has happened, I hope you get some re...

Re: I'm 51, husband thinks I'm too old for braces.

I'm almost 40 and I have been wearing Invisalign for two years. I LOVE the way my teeth have changed! My husband said "just what every man has always wanted, a wife with braces" but... I ignored him, and even he was amazed at how invisible they are. Don't listen to your husband! Really, ha...

I'll be honest, I would wait and save to go with the ortho. Only because I get a lot of emails on my blog from people dissatified with their results through a dentist. Do you have a university near you? Some of them offer treatment under the supervision of their lecturers as case studies. This can b...

Actually, according to my dentist this is true, you shouldn't brush for 30 mins after coke etc. He advised me to swill out my mouth thoroughly, to remove everything that I could. Put my aligners in, then wait 30 minutes before going and brushing them. This is what I do now and it seems to work fine....

They definitely look straighter and a lot whiter too! I used nitewhite but need to redo it now so I think I'll try the electric toothbrush too. :)

I'm surprised your ortho said you could drink anything and eat... mine is adamant that it should only be water. Anything else traps sugars between the aligners and teeth. Also, hot liwuids can warp the shape of the aligners...

Did he offer you the option of going back or wearing it a bit longer? Sometimes some teeth just need a bit more time.... That seems very early in treatment to be talking about teeth not moving, but I suppose your dentist knows your teeth best.

You can order extra Viveras from Invisalign. They have a copy of your last tray. In fact, you can get a subscription where they send you a certain number a year.

I don't know how long they keep the records though- will we be able to order them in 20 years?!
