Re: Going to correct my Underbite. *pictures*

Thank you bracedface and Erik :) I hope this post can be some kind of support for people already in the process, or who haven't yet started. I remember treads like this help me through much, so I therefore wanted to make one myself when I decided to go through with the surgery. Eirik: I had the surg...

The swelling is going down, I'm able to study normally (exams coming up soon) and I consume lots of food. My favorite smoothie is: Pineapple juice, 1 banana, 2 raw eggs,...

You'll be eating plenty of it  Dani, congrats on the returning feeling (even if it does mean feeling a bit more pa...

I had no pain, just some discomfort by some blood-sucking tubes coming from my mouth. Today I removed them as well, and was finally able t...

I met my surgeon! He said he wanted to move the lower jaw back. And said that he could perfom the surgery before summer 2010! I also had an appointment with my ortho after the meeting with the surgeon, she said she wasn't sure if the presurgery treatment were ready before the summer. But she'll be t...

My underbite looks very much like yours. I have been in braces for 8 months and my orthodontist thinks I should eb ready for double jaw surgery in about 6 months. It does get annoyign that you have to wait so long in order to even be ready for surgery but it's all with our best interest in mind so ...

A fellow Norwegian :) Just wanted to drop by and say hi. I'm a 23 year old girl who started the braces process in february. I have an overbite/overjet and I went to see an ortho to see what could be done. He said that I might be a good candidate for orthodontic surgery, and referred my to an oral s...

Update :P Today I had an new appointment with my ortho, or she wasn't there, just some assistants. But I only had to take some x-rays and a copy of my teeth(plaster figure). They told me that probably 100% of the treatment will be covered by the "norwegian government"!! (not sure what you ...

Thanks for the reply fuzzypants! I had been lurking on this forum for like 2 months before I decided to start the treatment and have surgery, so I will just say thanks to everyone!
