It will gradually get better! My lisp was caused by the roof of my mouth being swollen. It was really bad for the first couple of weeks but now you can't even notice it. It definitely goes away by time.

I had nose bleeds for about 4 days...with the bleeding getting less by each day. I coughed up a lot of blood for 2 weeks straight...it got really annoying, one minute I would be talking, next minute I had blood in my mouth. It's just a short phase that is expected.

I can definitely sympathise with the outbreak of spots because i had them also for 2 weeks in the beginning. I had both upper and lower jaw surgery and was kept in hospital for two nights.... But I guess it depends on what sorta surgery you're having.
