It will gradually get better! My lisp was caused by the roof of my mouth being swollen. It was really bad for the first couple of weeks but now you can't even notice it. It definitely goes away by time.

Hi everybody! I am now nearly 4 months post surgery, everything is fine and dandy and my braces should come off mid feb but I have one problem. I had nose bleeds for about 4 days...with the bleeding getting less by each day. I coughed up a lot of blood for 2 weeks straight...it got really annoying, one minute I would be talking, next minute I had blood in my mouth. It's just a short phase that is expected.

I can definitely sympathise with the outbreak of spots because i had them also for 2 weeks in the beginning. I also had very greasy skin but it all dissapeared soon after (I don't know what caused it but I heard its normal after surgery) I get people tell me that my swelling has gone all the way dow...

I had both upper and lower jaw surgery and was kept in hospital for two nights.... But I guess it depends on what sorta surgery you're having.
