I can relate to this. I went out last weekend to a party at a bar and I couldnt eat/drink because of my invisaligns and I thought damn! Breath!!! I'm gonna wanna be talking to people and the last thing you want is someone with smelly breath talking really close to you as they are trying to talk over...

this is funny... I tend to set the meal at the table, take them out... eat then put them back. Eating takes no more than 15mins (maybe 20 if I'm watching TV or reading) so I think I'm doing ok. this is interesting because my ortho said I could drink with the aligners in but I tend not to (because of things I've read on the forum plus it's kinda common sense)... other than after work beers that are hard to get out of... (once or twice a month)... my teeth wont fall out due to this will they...

I can relate to your experience although I don't have attachments on my front teeth but I do have them on my canines onwards (10 in total)... I was really self conscious about the invisaligns that i was trying not to talk but let me reassure you, this phase will pass and you wouldnt really care BECA...

I think it varies with aligners... I've had some that became loose (not falling off loose ) after a week. My last trays were snug after two weeks but no pain while brushing. the initial pressure on the teeth with new trays went after 20mins with these new trays (4/30)...

yeah things get a lot trickier when you get attachments. However I must say keep those nails growing... I use my nails to peel the aligners off the attachments from the back. my nails are now long and i'm afraid of cutting them because i know i wouldnt be able to take their babies out without them.

Talking about seeing changes, when do you start seeing noticeable changes? Well you can see a thining of the gums at the base of the teeth. I've just noticed it after changing to tray 3... I guess they are pushing down on my gums and I can feel the upper pushing into the gum at the top... It feels I bit rough when I take them out but I'm used to it now... I'm also getting ...

The gums on my bottom front teeth are starting to recede! I'm on #3/30...

what is causing this? is it the aligners or the overbrushing (3-4 times a day)
