i was wondering, other than wax what can help with sore cheeks.
from having my bottom braces put on it has caught my cheeks so bad and there really sore

hehe yay!, unfortunatly my ortho says they will start sticking out a bit so il look a bit goofy, but im not fussed aslong as there nice and straight. i cant wait to see what a couple more months will look like with my teeth hehe its very exciting.

hmm , lol , there wasnt anything extra in the xrays, like ya said my ortho would have picked up on it. i think its like the back part of the incisor? it just doesnt look or feel right

i think its part of my left lateral incisor, should it be showing like that ??

ohh great so i got all the pain to look forward to when i get my lowers i guess. i did have a proper blogspot but i deleted it and just decided to make this one. just so i can keep record of how my teeth are moving and looking, and so other people can check it out too

ouch, that doesnt sound good you poor thing.
so have you got a blog with pics of your own ? what did you think was more painful having on, your lower braces or your upper?

i have to hve mine on for around 2 years :( he couldnt give me any definate time as im not having any extractions which would have made the length of time much shorter but i opted for the mini screws which apparently will take about a year to get everything to where it should be. seems such a long t...

ohhh right! cool. i wanted the self ligating braces by 3M but the ortho advised me not to as he said they are so strong that they sometimes ping off the teeth more often than normal brackets if there is quite a bit of tension on the wire. I have heard a lot of good points about them though, atleast ...
