I think if you had the impressions before the chip and the reconstruction was pretty small and accurate, it might not be a problem. If it is then he'll have to file it down a bit more till they fit. I have a tiny chip on my upper central that i want fixing along with a little wear on a lower, but i'...

I imagine it would be dificult to get the impressions off the teeth and the attachments would likely damage the molds. It was quite tricky to pull my impressions off without any attachments, so the though of having impressions with attachments doesnt seem feasible.

I think most now get them as even if they're not for tooth movement they're to hold aligners down on the teeth in general.

I'd expect most get them on the premolars and maybe cuspids, but those are very hard to see.

Ugh, i don't like the sounds of that. Those attachments are there specifically for a reason, trust me i have them and know how they're working. If your plan includes attachments you almost certainly need them, and even if it doesn't you may need them anyway. A decision to be made by an experienced I...

Call them Monday and tell them to refund it if you're unhappy and stressed. There's no reason why you'd have to pay it all when Invisalign wont even have your impressions. At the very worst you might expect to lose something like a $250 deposit, but i'd argue for that back too seen as you've not eve...

Leave your aligners out too long and put them back in, it's pretty obvious what's happening and why you need to keep them in as much as possible. Your teeth move back out of alignment. I have to be honest and admit i do not wear my aligners 22h a day. I think it's near impossible for anyone to eat w...

When i found out about attachments i just about ruled out Invisalign as an option. I thought it was so stupid to ruin the invisible nature of the aligners. Anyway, that was then and this is now and my confidence has grown. I've had Invisalign 7 months now and have have an attachment on my upper cent...

Just because your experience didn't end in utter disaster doesn't mean "Doing the following is all fine". That's incredibly irresponcible. "Leaving them out all weekend" - Terrible idea. "only wearing them for around 18 hours a day" - Bad advice. "Just force the ne...

The IPR is printed on the aligner packets. My IPR is spaced out maybe once every 2 month on average. If it happens that IPR is done twice in a month, i believe he will do all IPR in one visit so i don't have to travel back so often.

The dust is probably the powdered acrylic plastic from the sanding pebble bath the aligners go through. They're already treated and sterilized before being sealed in the packet. The aligners are made of medical grade Acrylic THIS IS SPAM PLEASE REPORT IT TO THE ADMINISTRATOR. THIS IS SPAM PLEASE REP...

I should say, some pain is normal. I'd class pushing a tooth that's being "aligned" pain as totally normal.

The aligners change the way your jaw comes together so it can be weird and feel wrong if you take the aligners off. It usually goes away after a few hours (if you have them out too long!) and isn't to do with tooth movement this soon.

Pain is normal.
