Forgot to add that I also got a new wire on the bottom. Hurt pretty bad the first two days, and it is actually still kinda sore every once in a while, but that means there's movement!

So I started watching Ugly Betty recently, and I've decided that I'm going to get purple ligs on my bottom teeth when I have my appointment next week! I love that show. haha. I'm going to request wire ties on my top teeth, but we'll see what Dr. says.

Thanks, Ken! I'm hoping to request a clear wire (biomer) with white wire ties, and I'm willing to pay extra, but I'm okay if that doesn't work out. I would probably only have about 6 months in them when I get back, as my sentence is 18 months. I'm also worried about something breaking while I'm over...

So I think I'm going to request the BioMer wire with white wire ties. We'll see what becomes of it. If I can't do it, it's not big deal. If I can, that'd be preferable

I never have a pokey wire right when i get them changed, but as my bottom teeth move after each appointment, it's inevitable that my bottom teeth, left side, sprout a pokey wire. i can definitely empathize.
