Wow! I'm surprised you kept going with all the treatments despite the failures. But your teeth are really well-shaped, and your smile is going to look really good once your bite gets sorted out!

I feel like the next couple months are going to be agonizing. But I feel like the time (est. treatment was 18-21 months, but this is closer to 17), went by really fast.

I've got a date!

I went to my appointment yesterday, and my doctor finally gave me a day. Not an exact date, because that will be made at the appointment prior to the debonding day. I was one of the first patients he saw that day, so I felt like I got a little more one-on-one with the him. He said I would have my ne...

I'm not really a fan of my orthodontist. Sure, he does great work, but as far as everything else, it's quite unpersonal. I don't feel as comfortable as I thought I would asking questions. I don't really know how much treatment time I have left. I don't know how my teeth are doing or what needs to be...

I know what you mean! I haven't even had mine in a year and a half, and am hoping to get them off before November for sure. My teeth are incredibly nice and straight, sure. But there's nothing else really great happening. I have few gaps left, so there aren't any new space-closure developments to ma...

Wearing double elastics

I was just given elastics at my last appointment, and I don't find them too bad. They make a triangle between my canines and the two teeth below them (sorry I don't have a picture). I can handle pain pretty well, so that's not an issue. But I'm going to debate camp next week, which will probably inv...

Open bite when aligning upper and lower teeth?!

I've been creeping for a while, but finally decided to come out of the shadows as I noticed something a little disturbing today. I've been in braces (ceramics) for about thirteen or fourteen months now, and (for the most part) I'm please for what they've done. At my appointment (which I had a few da...
