They just pop them off with some tool...doesn't hurt at all. You would think they would be really difficult to remove but they came off easy. It just smells and tastes gross after.

No I don't, sorry. It's probably a generic brand or something. I just saw it and smiled. I have no need for it since I'm brace less now ;)

My ortho has nice teeth, you can tell he had braces because of how straight they are. He's young and kinda cute too :)

The orthos said your teeth are too big? I had 4 premolar extractions but because I had too many teeth for my small mouth, so kinda different from you. I have a friend though who also had 4 premolar extractions and I guess I would describe her teeth as being big, her mouth was really protuded. I thin...

I'm in the US, California to be exact. I see adults with braces pretty often and it was not a big deal having braces as an adult for me. I don't have insurance so I paid out of pocket on a payment plan.

I do not regret my extractions (4 pre-molars), the process was a pain in the butt and I had periods of depression and anxiety, but in the end it turned out for the better and I tortured myself over nothing. My profile has changed, but minimally and for the better. I imagine if I went against extract...

Heidi Klum had her pre-molars extracted, not sure if all 4 or just upper or lower 2. I think she mentioned it on Jay Leno...
Btw, I had 4 pre-molars extracted and no damage to my profile was done.

None of my teeth needed any more movement post braces, so the extra space concerned me. I paid thousands of dollars for these teeth! You should expect your treatment to be done right.

Oh good, so you're getting new retainers??
I complained about my top retainer having a gap between the acrylic and back of teeth. Get my new top retainer on Friday.

Hey Haywire, well I suppose the 1-2 months wouldn't make a difference for you in waiting. The partially erupted wisdom tooth that needs to be extracted for me has been that way since getting braces, so its been there for two years and didn't affect my treatment. But now since being debraced I don't ...

Thanks Emmauk. I do not need jaw surgery and am totally done with orthodontics and wisdom teeth are not really a concern for moving my newly straight teeth. Its more of a periodonatal disease precaution or prevention I guess. Just feel weird about having "asymmetrical" or uneven # of teeth.

Wisdom teeth post braces

So I just recently got my braces removed and headed to the oral surgeon for a consult on my wisdom teeth. 3 are erupted and the upper right is partially erupted. He wants to extract the partial and the one below it, so tooth #1 and #32. That means I will keep my wisdom teeth on the left and extract ...

Yes they are pressed against the teeth. How else would they hold them in place?
