No, I do not think that mouth rinse stained the ligatures....or the clear braces for that matter (I have both).

Elastics go on this Thursday....the 3 weeks without elastics has been a breeze and now I wonder what I have gotten myself into ;-). Obviously there hasn't been any movement (that I can tell anyway) so I am not sure the purpose of the three weeks with just the brackets on .... from what everyone has ...

Yeah for IPR....I won't be having any extractions either but using the IPR where they shave off the enamal. Good to hear that it is working for you. It's nice to know that it works. My front two teeth are pretty large teeth and I know the dentist will be taking some enamal off those two to make room...

I am just curious after reading some threads that people have "treatment plans". I have not seen one nor have I heard my ortho refer to one. Should I ask for this...

Hi Wired Skull! I noticed that you have ceramics on tops and bottoms....in the time that you have had braces on, did you have any staining of the ceramics? I am really paranoid about staining them...I drink one to two cups of coffee a day and have maybe a glass of iced tea every other...lots of wat...

I bought a cordless waterpik and hated it at first. But now, I have learned how to use it and love it. The water drains fast but I am down to only refilling it once which I have to do in the kitchen sink because the unit is too big for my bathroom sink. That is probably my one gripe.

You will be fine. They should affect your speech only slightly but you should be able to compensate for it. Mostly S's.
