Teeth are funny things...

i've had my left lateral incisor banded for about 3 months now.. and within the past days i've seen the most movement.. even people state so... its odd to think that teeth move when they want sometimes and not when expected. btw before and after pics.. im only halfways through http://i90.photobucket...

like 11 or so months in ( i forget ) i dont even think about them... i don't mind how i look in them if anything i like em.. sitting around a few days ago and relized im at mid point and was surprised that time flew like it did .. i wont miss the pain they can give you but may as well make the best ...

Yea first with round with PC's on my lowers in three different places.. this is now the evening of the 2'nd day later and just a dull ache in my jaw.. nothing sharp... just there.. driving me nuts hah..no chewing in sight for me at the moment .. time for liquid bread hah

Morning all, thanks blindboarder and staceyr for the words of encouragement .. this morning its tender slight jaw ache, a bit worse from last night, it does hurt but mostly just a real dull ache deep in jaw, i can say woofing down a bacon burger is out of the question today hah which is good i neede...

yea a wobbly tooth is fine ( if anything the braces help keep it from falling out, not that it would.. so no worrys about that) and its cool to know someone has the same coil arrangement i did and for me i had to wear them all the way up till last adjustment..

Its okay lisa, heh i had that feeling of looking like a monkey with my braces on ( the whole thick lips look ) i had mine on for about 9 months or so and yes the feeling does go away.. sooner for others more than later.. and yes the pain will go away.. its going to hurt your cheeks till they roughen...

My first consult and second opinion both required extractions.. My current ortho gave me the option of not removing them and just flaring all my teeth out :shock: i looked at her wondering if she was serious.. id have horse teeth .. so to the question yes i am very happy.. and wouldnt change a thing

Congrats on getting started... yea spacers are more aggrevating than anything.. ( feels like ya got huge chunks of streak forever caught in your teeth ) they wern't bad at all for me.. but things may differ for you ... as for the pain give it a week and it should die down a bit..

they're a big boost to my selfesteem! makes me want to smile again btw.. erika. i love that you highlighted the broccili!! i always have some sort of matter wrapped around my braces.. wouldnt surprise me to wake up and find a buick in there one day :crazy:
