Welcome aboard. I'm 19 as well, but I'm about to get mine off next week. I have the Damon's and I have no complaints. I'm going to be so happy once I get these shackles off my teeth though, haha.

hmmm I'd also like to know the answer to this question. An entire week seems like a bit of a stretch...I'll get my retainers the same day that I get my braces off.

What I find interesting is that my midline will shift about 1mm after not wearing the elastics throughout the day..but then in the morning, it's perfectly aligned again. Good thing I'm set to be debanded in the morning then, I guess?

At my last appointment, my ortho told me that they are going to deband me at my next appointment, here in about 3 weeks. The past 6 months I have been wearing different elastic configurations 24 hours a day. Now I am only wearing 2 elastics, both in a triangle shape attached to my top canine and bot...

I'm wondering, did they deband you?

I'm a sophomore in college at the age of 19, and have had braces since June of last year. I have had significant improvement, and am already almost done. I will have my braces off before the end of this year. I have the Damon metal braces on top and bottom...they are great!

Wow, I have the SAME problem on the SAME tooth. All of my other teeth have been moving just fine, except for that one. Let me know how your progress goes!

I'll admit that I've done it before, but I don't think it really helped. I'll just let the braces do their job...

What I mean by this is that some of my teeth are more "jagged" than others. I just want all of my teeth to be even.. well with the exception of my canines, it's expected that they are a bit sharper than the rest. But will my ortho sand my teeth down till they are smooth and even or what? I...
