I have ceramic uppers, and I get pearl colored ligs to avoid minor staining from the clear lig's. Staining depends on your eating habits.

this happens to me, and for the life of me, i can never get the archwire back in the buccal tube, because of the self litigating brackets on my lower arch. I end up driving over to my ortho's office to get the wire popped back in. It's very annoying.
