Dental wax is your friend

I use dental wax, till i can get home and file the sharp edges.
I always keep some in my bag.

Update for you all

Well Retainer 13 is my lucky number.
I'm done with my uppers. with nice straight top teeth
I just had my revision imprint taken, I go back to the ortho in December!

MAN, what a joy having the Speed bumps taken off my teeth!!

My thoughts

the 'shave down' was more like a good flossing with sandpaper no pain, and nothing even noticeable. The speed bumps. There tooth colored! YES they are annoying in my mouth (like I have something stuck to my tooth like peanut butter) but there invisible to anyone looking at my teeth and the ONLY time...

I have to say

In 2008 they really have improved the mold part of this adventure I had a gel in a plastic tray that was applied to my teeth It took 5 mins to 'set" and my ortho had to tug a bit to get them out ("any extractions of any other teeth are free Jonathan") she said that got a laugh from me...
