A Panoramic X-ray (Pano for short) images the entire mouth and its surrounding structures in one continual sweep. Although the jaw is curved, a Panoramic x-ray produces a flat image. Dentists, Orthodontists, and Oral Surgeons use the image to get a detailed view of the health and positions of your teeth and their roots, your jaw, and even your sinuses. This helps them to plan your treatment or diagnose diseases.
