I'm at day 6 post-op (double+genio). This last two days the inside of my mouth started to burn. It's at the inside of the cheeks and also in some of the gum. It's like I ate spicy food (but I didn't)... is this normal for such pain to develop at this time ?, what could be the source ?, could this be some sort of infection ?

hmmmm might be worth it to call your surgeon and ask, I can't really remember if i felt burning after, I was pretty numb for the first several weeks. best to be safe rather then sorry, does it seem to be really warm feeling??
