Eurghhhh so what i was dreading has happened

totally meh about it really
I POPPED A BRACKET OFF IN MY SLEEP AND SWALLOWED IT :'(
This was the bracket that wasn't connected to the arch wire and was situated on my blocked out incisor, the bracket kept catching on my lower tooth so I can only think i must have weakened the bond this way and then totally started grinding my teeth in my sleep

really gutted though as i have been really trying to look after this bracket as it wasn't connected up yet

So I just left a message for my ortho to see what he says, do i need to go in and have another bracket put on (even though it wasn't even connected to the wire yet and was just being a hassle) or can it wait till my next adjustment which is in september?
I must admit, i've had a bit of a cry about it, silly I know. It's just with the NHS if you have too many breakages, they deem you incompetent at looking after a brace and take it off you

i know this is the first time, but i can't help thinking i'm going to be in braces for a long time yet and what if it happens again

pah.
Great start to my weekend...not.
However, the only positive is that it will make eating and cleaning easier for me next week when I'm off to London to watch the Olympic games with a certain electronics manufacturer, going to try and not let this bother me too much i guess.
Here's a picture of day 23...sans stupid swallowed bracket. Not much movement yet i guess. feeling rather disheartened
