27y/o, palatal expander in place, upper palate. 2 turns/day for 7 days. Since adult-aged, unlikely to have actual palate expansion but tilting of the molars instead, I suppose. I wanted to ask, given the 14 turns, is there any likelihood of causing the molars to suddenly fracture. Right now when I brush my teeth at one of the molars, I experience very sharp pain, not sure if this is normal or not. I'll probably call it in on Monday, but wanted to check in here. Could it be nerve impingement that is worsened by brushing?
