Why is this Forum now only an Archive?

At first, "Ask The Doc" seemed like a great idea. But as time went on, there was a problem. The docs who posted on this forum tended to come and go, so sometimes instead of "docs" answering the questions, other readers were answering the questions!

I thought that was rather counter-productive. People posted in this forum to specifically ask an orthodontist or dentist a question -- not get their question answered by another reader.

So, I decided to stop this forum and let the "docs" answer questions as needed in all the other forums of this message board. You will find several orthodontists and dentists who participate on a regular basis.

Feel free to browse through this archive. The info here is still valuable!
