I am 14 months into what should of been 25weeks. So it's just feels never ending to me. I thought I would be done in October, but it's looking like january now. Which to be honest is probably adding a bit to the depressed feeling I have had recently.

Yep that's understandable.. Maybe you can reframe it although you thought 26 weeks the new time line seems more realistic.. If fast braces were possible surely they'd be the standard option.

Regarding the depressed feeling just remember emotions come and go and that's okay. It's okay to feel them but nothing is permanent and you have the power to move through them you've already done the hard work 14 months is amazing it seems so far away to me but these stories from people like you give others great hope and motivation.

I came into braces as one of the biggest fears of my life after working through an anxiety disorder for the last 18 months so the feelings and emotions I will experience are the biggest fear but also learning a lot about human psychology mindfulness and meditation as part of recovery has taught me a great deal about what we can and can't handle and how our minds can be our own worst enemy but they also don't always reflect reality so all we need to do is get a little perspective and we can greatly reduce our own struggles when we feel down or experience times of worrying and other negative thoughts by just observing and accepting rather than reacting.

Feel better and remember January is not that far away at all!
