Hello Everyone! I am soo grateful I found this site and for all the support I get from it!

Just a little background.. I had Phase I treatment when I was 12-13. Braces came off after a year and I wore my retainers until my other adult teeth came in and they no longer fit. My parents could not afford the 2nd phase.

Fast forward to age 20.. I was married and had orthodontic coverage until age 21 so I decided to get braces again! Treatment time was estimated at a year or more with extractions being a possibility. I had braces for about 3 months and ended up having to get out of a bad marriage. I moved back home (1200 miles from where I was living). I could no longer afford to continue with treatment so I had them removed. :-+ Complete waste of money!

That bring me to now, age 27. I am engaged to a wonerful man and I am determined to have perfect teeth for our wedding (we have yet to set a date). My estimated treatment time is 24 months. I had 4 extractions of 1st premolars on Nov. 29th, 2012. Upper braces were installed Dec. 11th, 2012. I have my first adjustment tomorrow, Feb. 6th, 2013. So excited! I will update periodically with pictures!!

Haha, I feel the same! The time can't go quickly enough!!

They are really looking fantastic already! I'm jealous! I think at the front at least mine are still looking the same (I know stuff is moving, just not the stuff I want to move :P).
