1 month, 3 weeks, 1 dayHi people! Sorry for the lack of updates. I got carried away with the summer
I forgot to mention that for a few weeks now - perhaps 2, or thereabouts - I've been able to use my front teeth to chew properly, and to pick my nail varnish off (bad habit, I know

). They've not been nearly as tender as they were for the first week. I still feel pressure on my teeth now and again, especially a few days after an adjustment.
I was thinking about maybe making an extensive pros and cons list of the aligners once I'm done with the treatment, or a 'what to expect' guide or something of the like. Would anybody be interested in that? If anybody has any suggestions of what you'd like to hear about or questions to submit then feel free to let me know. I wanna help out my aligner buddies as much as possible, because that leaflet you get with them isn't exactly informative
So, shock horror disaster! My dentist is going on holiday! And I've been booked in with a different one. Now, I don't actually like having to speak to doctors and dentists as professionals

I only like mine because he's like a friend of the family too. So I've a feeling this will be me -->

And not just because of the tooth filing either!
I got a lot of dry lips and dead skin on and around my mouth at the start of the treatment. Chapsticks and lip balms etc helped a bit but not a lot. That's subsided quite significantly now, although I do find myself licking my lips a lot when nobody's looking.
I bit my tongue with the aligners in for the first time today. Be warned, it hurts a lot more than usual. You want to try and avoid that if you can.
I'm nearly running out of my free mouth wash now, so it's purchasing time soon.
I think that's all for now. I'll keep you guys updated
