Got my Waterpik!!

#1 Post by UnevenJAG »

Decided to purchase a Waterpik Complete Care WP900, I used it for the first time last night to see how it would go, yes I splashed the entire bathroom mirror and myself, but it was great! My teeth felt amazing afterwards. My upper braces go on in just over two weeks so I'm guessing it will become pretty handy.

Last night was my first time with braces and a waterpik. It was amazing. I can see why they are so well loved in the Metal Mouth community!

Definitely! It does such a good job, I have molar bands on at the moment and it really helps clear them better than a toothbrush does.

I'm thinking it will become a great investment

basher,

you can buy them them at most retail stores and department stores [target, kohl's, etc] if you're in North America. They're no more than $50. I bought one 7-8 months ago and really glad that I did.

In the UK I got mine at Boots.
OK, it was the massive Boots on Oxford Street, but you can order them online too.

I was thinking of buying one of these when I decided to get braces. The hygienist put me off a bit when she explained how messy they were ("icky" was the word she used I think), but you've got me reconsidering now!

Got my braces on yesterday, I use my water pik every time I have eaten so far. It really helps!

I have ordered mine off eBay but in Australia everything is expensive but still think at $144 it is worth it and hopefully I will get before I get my braces

I paid $180 for mine, I use it daily, definitely well worth the price!! I don't find it makes much mess anymore, I tend to keep my mouth shut when using it and just spit out the water regularly. I would recommend to everyone, it works so great :)

I absolutely love mine! I had it for a year before I was even braced and have gotten plenty of use out of it. 50$ score in the target clearance section packaged with the vibrating toothbrush!

Between the 2 my teeth feel awesome afterwards.

A Waterpik is on my Christmas list for this year. I've heard so many great reviews. I can't wait to start using it, though it's a lot more expensive in Australia than in the US.

is the Waterpik really more effective than string floss? I don't really mind threading, but if it's just as effective it would save some time.
